Allergen Awareness – A Thoughtful Message from CORGI CANDLE

At CORGI CANDLE, we care deeply about the safety and well-being of every customer. We know that fragrance sensitivities and allergies are very real, and we want to be as transparent as possible about what goes into the products you bring into your home.

While we always strive to provide clear, honest labeling, it’s important to share that there is currently no federal law in the United States that requires candle makers to include allergen warnings for fragrance oils on their labels.

Here’s what the law says:

• The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) does not regulate candles, as they are not classified as food or cosmetics.
• The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) oversees candles, but its primary concerns are fire safety, lead in wicks, and acute toxicity — not fragrance allergens.
• Current U.S. regulations do not require disclosure of fragrance allergens in home fragrance products such as candles or wax melts.

That said, we believe in going above and beyond for our customers. If you or a loved one have specific sensitivities or allergies, we are more than happy to provide full Allergen Reports directly from our trusted fragrance oil suppliers. Just send us a message no questions asked.

Because every individual responds differently to scents and ingredients, CORGI CANDLE cannot be held liable for allergic reactions or sensitivities related to fragrance use. But we’re here for you and will do everything we can to help you make the best decision for your space and your body.
